Withdrawal Status

There are 3 different stages of your withdrawal request, these statuses define which stages of the withdrawal process your money is at.

The current withdrawal systems we use are Stripe Express Accounts and Wise. To link your ClearlyDev account to these, refer to this documentation.

Pending

Stripe: The funds are pending approval to be sent.

Wise: We are awaiting funds to be deposited into our dedicated Wise payout account.

Accepted

Stripe: Your withdrawal has been accepted and the funds have been sent to your Stripe Express Account, stripe usually takes 2-3 working days to move your money from your express account into your connected bank account.

Wise: Your withdrawal has been accepted and the funds have been directly transferred instantly to your Bank Account, some bank may take different amount of times to display / accept these funds.

Denied

If your withdrawal has been denied, do not worry. This does not been your account has been impacted in any way, it simply means we had trouble getting your payment to you and we want to try again.

Stripe: List of reasons as to why your stripe withdrawal would be denied.

  1. You are located outside of Stripe's operating zone, Stripe has not yet set up payments with some countries/regions yet. To overcome this please contact support and we will offer an alternative method.
  2. You have not verified your ID on Stripe. Stripe has a period of time after you open your express account where you can send and receive money without verification, however after this period expired, you will be asked for proof of 18+ ID, you will know this as it will be displayed via your stripe express dashboard. Unless you fail to supply ID, your stripe account or ClearlyDev account will not be impacted, once you have verified your ID please send your withdrawal request again.
  3. Other Stripe Express account restrictions. Your Stripe Express account may have a different restriction placed on it, normally these can be solved by doing as instructed on the stripe website or by contacting stripe support. For further issues with your Stripe Express account, we recommend you contact support.

Wise: List of reasons as to why your Wise withdrawal would be denied.

  1. You have not applied for Wise withdrawals. Before using Wise, we require some extra information from you, therefore you are required to apply for this payment gateway, you can view how to do so here .
