How to Customise Your Store

An important part of becoming a successful creator on the Clearly Dev Market is establishing your brand image. This process can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be, but at the very least you should customize your Marketplace profile. If you don't, your shop will display the shop name that you chose, but your banner and avatar will be the default and your shop will not display a description or links to social media.

To get started, click this Store Settings link, or go to Store Manager > Settings > Store.

1. General Settings

At first you will see your general store settings, these are the base features of your shop page and makes you unique from everyone else.

Store Name

Your name will appear everywhere, from your store page, product page, checkout, etc. It is very important that you make this short and catchy, this could be your username or your company's name.

Your email will be used for Clearly Development Marketplace support to contact you or for your customer's support.

2. Store Branding

Add a Logo

Your logo is the visual clue that will help customers conect with and remember you. They will see it on each of your product pages and at the top of your Marketplace shop. If you want to create a consistent look for your brand across platforms, you can set it to be the same as the avatar/profile image that you use for social media.
The avatar that you choose can be a photograph, your logo, or an image that points to your speciality as a creator.

Add a Banner

The banner image is what appears above the shop name and description, at the top of your shop page. You may want to pick an image that is representative of your products, or perhaps something eye-catching that will encourage customers to scroll down and see what you sell.

The image should be 1650px by 1350px, either JPG or PNG, and <5MB.This banner will also appear on the list of stores on the Marketplace Page.

3. Description

Your description is what will summarize you as a creator and let customers know what sorts of things they will find in your shop. The following questions might help you craft your description: What kinds of products do you create? What do you value? Why do you create? Is there anything that you want customers to know about you, your products, or what's new? Be sure to check your spelling and punctuation.

4. Product Layout

You can also display how many products you display per page, the recommended amount is 8.
